Fall days in Central Texas

This morning as I contemplated the day before I arose, I could hear the morning songs outside my open window. Birds were chirping, dogs were barking, and my neighbors chimes were singing in the wind. What a glorious day! Just to recognize the God of creation always moving, watching over all His creatures made me feel alive and filled with peace. Knowing He sustains all things and works all things for His pleasure gives me the purpose I need to get out of bed and begin again a day filled with children children children. In my mind's eye I can see their happy faces greet me at the door. Coach Hurley! I love you! Is it free day? Exhausting as it gets, I love setting out equipment, balls, hoops jump ropes, whatever the lesson of the day will entail. My God is with me. He is my best friend. Wherever I am I feel His presence. Break time does come, a moment off my feet before the next rush of feet comes in anticipating another game or run. Back home to pick up the teenager who wants to check his schedule at work. Quiche tonight sounds fun... maybe cookies... oh better not. Monday night, lessons done, football is on and I wander in to create a blog?!!!! Me?
